This decorative cherry burl bowl was created by my own hand. I take great pleasure in finely crafting one of a kind wooden masterpieces to be appreciated for years to come. This particular piece was finished in November 2023. It is 9 inches wide and 3 inches deep. While it is finished in food safe walnut oil, I would recommend it be used for display as the natural voids in burls make it unable to hold liquids. Burls are natural growths on trees that form for many reasons but create wild swirling growth that is incredibly detailed and beautiful to look at. These are rare to find and difficult to work with but the results are stunning and makes each bowl a work of art!
